Terms of Engagement

1.1 Preliminary Consultations: Consultations conducted at our workshop atelier or via digital channels (telephone, email, WhatsApp) provide non-binding preliminary estimates based on client specifications.

1.2 Market Volatility of Precious Metals & Gems: Due to continuous fluctuations in bullion spot prices (Gold, Platinum, Silver) and international diamond exchange valuations, formal manufacturing quotations remain valid for a period of 7 business days from issuance, unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.

1.3 Order Confirmation: A manufacturing order is deemed confirmed only after written sign-off on specifications and receipt of the agreed initial manufacturing deposit.

2.1 CAD Modeling & Wax Approvals: For custom bespoke orders, clients are provided with digital CAD renders or 3D wax prototypes for inspection. Once approved in writing by the client, production commences into metal casting.

2.2 Artisan Handcrafting Tolerances: Handcrafted jewellery inherently showcases singular artisan touches. Variations in stone facet play, micro-pavé alignment, and finished weights of up to (±5%) due to filing, emerying, and polishing are recognized industry standards and do not constitute defect.

2.3 Client-Supplied Gemstones or Gold: If the client furnishes ancestral gold or customer-owned gemstones for remounting, ASHMITA JEWELLERY tests and weighs materials upon receipt with signed witness verification. The atelier is not liable for latent internal gemstone inclusions, fractures, or stress cleavages that may release during heat casting or bezel setting.

3.1 Manufacturing Retainers: Custom manufacturing orders require a non-refundable deposit (typically 40%–50%) to procure bullion allocations and certified gemstones.

3.2 Balance Upon Inspection: The remaining balance is payable upon completion, hallmarking, and prior to insured dispatch or salon collection.

3.3 Non-Cancellable Bespoke Orders: Because custom pieces are crafted to singular personal dimensions, inscriptions, and designs, bespoke commissions cannot be cancelled or returned once precious metal casting or bespoke gemstone cutting has commenced.

4.1 Official Purity Certification: All manufactured precious metal jewellery is tested and hallmarked in strict compliance with Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) regulations (e.g., 916 for 22K Gold, 750 for 18K Gold, 925 for Sterling Silver).

4.2 Independent Gemological Certificates: Major diamonds and precious colored gems are accompanied by independent certifications (GIA, IGI, or authorized government gemological laboratories) as specified in your quotation.

5.1 Atelier Designs: All proprietary designs, CAD files, wax casts, and photographic assets created by ASHMITA JEWELLERY remain the intellectual property of ASHMITA JEWELLERY.

5.2 Client Original Designs: Where clients provide original bespoke designs for exclusive production, the atelier maintains confidentiality and will not replicate the design for other patrons without mutual consent.

5.3 Website Content: Photography, catalog descriptions, workshop video recordings, and logos displayed on this website may not be reproduced, scraped, or republished without written authorization.

6.1 Secure Logistics: Domestic and international deliveries of finished jewellery are dispatched exclusively via authorized insured courier services (e.g., Sequel Logistics, BVC Logistics, or registered high-value insured carriers).

6.2 Transfer of Risk: Consignments are fully insured by the atelier while in transit until receipt and signature confirmation by the authorized recipient.

7.1 Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ASHMITA JEWELLERY's aggregate liability arising from any order shall not exceed the actual amount paid by the customer for the specific item in dispute.

7.2 Governing Jurisdiction: These Terms and any agreements arising hereunder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts situated in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
